Patricia Yates

After graduating with a Masters Degree and Artist Diploma in Opera and Voice Performance from McGill University’s Schulich School of Music, Patricia Yates now works as a freelance performer, based out of Montreal.

Recent operatic credits include: Elle in a self-directed production of Poulenc’s setting of Jean Cocteau’s La Voix Humaine for Highlands Opera Studo; Doctor/Commander X in a new arrangement of Poul Ruder’s adaptation of Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale for The Banff Centre; Peter Quint in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw by Henry James.

Patricia is an expert in contemporary stage-work, and has appeared in several world premieres.
