Emma Stevens

Emma Stevens was born in London, England and at the tender age of 5 entered a boarding school in the Dickensian tradition. Not long after her release, she attended veterinarian college for a year before winning a scholarship to The Guildford School of Acting which is affiliated with the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford. Upon graduation she did the mandatory years in Repertory Theatre with the likes of Bob Monkhouse and Sue Nickles, to earn her credits toward her British Actors Equity Membership. She then spent several years working in the West End of London with Kenneth More, Alan Bates, Sheila Ballentine, John Woodvine, Charles Tingwell, Julia Lockwood and many more. Cutting short her West End career to move to Canada with her family she founded Theatre Lac Brome in Eastern Quebec where she was Artistic Director for many years. She subsequently founded Echo Arts Theatre to present professional theatre productions and along the way started a summer theatre camp for children. She has worked in theatre, film, voice and television across Canada.

She lives in the Eastern Townships of Quebec with her herd of rescued dogs and cats.
